Abraham Lincoln said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe

La Salle Catholic School has known that committing resources to sharpening the ''axe'' has immense benefits---academic excellence, high enrollments, High staff productivity, etc.. Between 20th and 23rd August 2024, La Salle Catholic School convened a workshop to upscale the skills and knowledge of the educators so that they can deliver a holistic education to the learners.

The workshop focused on integrating AI in learning and teaching, which was led by Loyola Center for Media and Communication. This is the second training on AI our educators are receiving and it featured practical application of AI using a number of applications appropriate for teaching and learning.

While technology skills are vital, our values and virtues as a school are equally important. During the workshop, our school Director,  Brother, Professor Paulos W. Mesmer highlighted  ways of incorporating the La Sallian 12 virtues and Values in learning and teaching so that our learners and educators, besides ICT skills can boldly embody the La Sallian Culture.
